Patina Gallery welcomes Barbara Heinrich and invites you to explore how Old World
goldsmithing becomes distinctly contemporary.
Grounded in rigorous German training, Barbara approaches each botanical idea as the
beginning of an entire visual language. One form may branch into rings, earrings,
pendants, and bracelets. Each related, yet wholly its own.
Her work carries the precision of traditional hand fabrication without feeling bound to the
past. Quiet, strong, recognizable, and made to endure,

Patina Gallery celebrates Barbara Heinrich, an artist who creates jewelry to be lived in
and not saved for a special occasion.
Barbara works in gold and richly colored gemstones to create pieces that feel intimate
and quietly empowering. “Color is emotion,” while diamonds serve as points of light
within each composition.
After decades of exploring materials and form, Barbara remains centered on what
matters most: creating special treasures that help women feel strong, comfortable, and
fully themselves.

Barbara Heinrich, discover the artist whose jewelry begins with nature.
A withered leaf, a dogwood blossom, the structure of a trillium, or flora encountered while traveling may become the first spark for Barbara’s work. Back in the studio, these impressions evolve through drawing, gold, and an intuitive conversation with the material.
“It forms me as much as I form it”

Join us this evening, September 4 for the opening of Perennial by Barbara Heinrich.
Dogwood blossoms, trillium, and the lush botanical world of Sri Lanka take new form in gold, colored gemstones, and light. Rather than reproduce nature, Barbara distills its architecture, the symmetry of a flower, the outward reach of a petal, and the quiet strength held within an organic form.
Be among the first to experience this new exhibition, meet Barbara, and see how the natural world blossoms through the hand of a master goldsmith.

For Barbara Heinrich, creating jewelry is more spiritual than physical. It takes intense concentration of a special kind – an inner listening and seeing to conceive these gifts of jewelry in their entirety and purity.

Please join us Friday, September 4th, for the opening of Barbra Heinrich’s exhibition.
