Hey, friends ~ it's been a busy year for us, so busy with custom projects that I've just been working working working trying to get everything done before I get to hang up that "Gone Fishin'" sign. Lots of beautiful custom pieces have been going out the door this year, and it's been hard to say no to new projects. BUT: retirement beckons (12.31.24) Our showcases are full of my one-of-a-kind pieces and we are taking appointments for shopping at our Lena Street studio (please call 505-820-1080 to schedule). Just because it's still 80 degrees in Santa Fe doesn't mean we aren't thinking about holiday gift-giving, which is coming sooner than you think! ✨These rings are currently available in my Santa Fe studio ✨

Just want to send a special thank you to all the friends, colleagues, and clients who have appreciated my work over the years. You've kept us going even when we weren't sure we could. This year has been kind of a challenge to wrangle, with our unexpected second relocation last December and an ongoing pile-up of more work than we can handle in a timely fashion. It's been hugely gratifying to be able to keep doing what I love for so long, and especially during such perilous times. I set a pretty high bar for myself and there have been a couple of times expectations - mine and clients - were not met to my satisfaction, bur for the most part it's been a great ride. 2024 will be our last year in business; it's been a long time since I've gone fishing :) My showcases are full at our Lena St. studio so feel free to come by for your holiday shopping. And I'll be taking appointments for new custom projects starting in January. Wishing you all a gentle holiday season ✨✨✨

Hey, sorry to be so quiet lately! It took us a while to get settled in to our new space on Lena Street, and we've been getting caught up with all the custom work piling up while we were moving. So it's been a very busy time and it looks like it will continue to be that way for a while. And yes, we are open by appointment to discuss your custom jewelry projects, including restyling old jewelry, browsing our showcases, and ~~since the price of gold is at an all-time high right now~~ we can also facilitate recycling your unwanted gold jewelry sitting in the jewelry box for some cash money or credit towards a new piece. Looking forward to seeing you!

Holiday Greetings to all our friends! We are relocating ~ again ~ and will be ready to take appointments for custom jewelry projects starting January 10 at our NEW new location, 1704 Lena Street, Unit B-5. We're looking forward to hanging with our new neighbors, including Iconik, The Bread Shop, Whiskey+Clay, Root 66, Liberty Gourmand and a bunch of other cool folks. Meanwhile, please enjoy these lovely petite pendants for New Year's inspiration: 22k yellow gold with a round faceted spinel and 18k yellow gold with a sugarloaf garnet, both hand-fabricated and one-of-a-kind.

We're settling in to our new space little by little ~ we have plenty of room to move around in (and plenty of parking, the lack of which we heard about every day at the old shop!), we're meeting with clients, and Marc is busy at the bench. And we're thrilled to note the addition of Elizabeth Hahn's big fun paintings to our showroom!

Have we mentioned that we're relocating?? Doesn't look like much just yet, but give us a few weeks and we'll be looking forward to you visiting. We're still open in our current South Capitol space, until the end of October. And then, November 1, we'll be in our new home in Midtown! Details to come, just didn't want you to think we've forgotten about you :) It's been a busy time for us; knowing that our lease was expiring soon really lit a fire under us to find the right location for our forever studio. This time (finally) we'll be our own landlords ~ no more moving every few years. More jewelry pix to come soon...

Here's just a sample of some of the many custom projects we've been working on this year: a suite of silver pendants, a deep basket setting for a huge checkerboard tourmaline, a petite opal pendant, and a gorgeous orange spessartite garnet accented with yellow sapphires. We've been astonishingly busy this year, which we are very grateful for. AND we are now actively seeking a new location for our business, as our lease is ending in a few months. We've all heard about how tight the rental market is, and that goes for commercial as well as residential. Fingers crossed that we can get ourselves settled in a new shop before the holiday season kicks off!

I recently completed this custom project using the client's 2+ carat marquise diamond, set in an 18k white gold bezel on a wide 18k yellow gold hand-hammered shank. Creating that texture took a bit of experimenting, which is one of the things I love about custom work ~ trying out new techniques, visualizing the outcome and then making it happen.
