Jewelry of original design using old beads, coins, amber, coral, shell, & amulets hand woven and wor Customers were more interested in her jewelry.

The daughter of an air force piolot, Jewels spent her formative years growing up in Tripoli. She traveled extensively with her family from Tunis to Tangiers and recalls endless wandering through exotic market souks with her mother. Struck by the beauty of the coral, amber and tribal other tribal adornments, she says "I was hooked." After her education in Europe, Jewels spent many years traveling;

living in India, South America and again in North Africa, expanding her education of jewelry design and knowledge of cultural artifacts-always collecting. Once she moved back to the states, long dark hair and decorated in beads and chains, she tried a stint of waiting tables. She promptly lost her job and never looked back. Clients are still buying necklaces off her neck

Pictures just don’t do it justice: the patina, colors and depth. Ancient jades and a few other surprises, our hand stitched Italian leather and hand woven cord. The leather is so soft it follows the curve of the perfectly. This piece is for collectors of art and beauty.

Always a collector, a collector of beautiful monies such as excavated coins, shells and beads, Jewels has been collecting paper bills too since very young. She just pulled this box of bills hidden for some 30 years in the studio. Killer!
