Gold plated Abalone signet - one of my first cast stone pieces I made while living in San Miguel
My very first work bench at my crazy mentor’s studio in Mexico
Where my jewelry making career began - weaving beads
Cuttlefish cast hair pin!
Fun fact: I found a bunch of cuttlefish on a secluded beach in Greece a couple months ago. They’re great for making natural casting molds
My very first pair of silver and stone earrings
When we started a WS clothing line during the pandemic out of my little home in San Pancho
Emerald tension ring - one of the most precise pieces I’ve done - teaching me I much prefer to wing things ;)
the turquoise era
Went from making clothes to natural dying - lots of avocado dye!
Another from the collection - this photo made it into British Vogue back in 2020!
I started selling everything I made through instagram while I was living and studying in Mexico to fund staying down there - I was shocked and amazed that I was able to make my rent and expenses - and eventually encouraged to pursue this as my full time work
My first collection of cast pieces!
First exploration of cast pieces with beads
I left Mexico and moved back to California - serendipitously landed in a lovely studio in Santa Cruz and the day I said yes was offered a room in a home I’d always wanted to live in on the north coast
And then things really got rocking and rolling!
I now work out of my home studio and focus on cast pieces and custom designs
For special occasions like weddings!
And engagements :)
And when time and motivation allows - I continue painting and making prints. I feel so honored and grateful to be making my living as an artist/maker/creative being. It is a true honor and gift to be able to do something with all the inspiration I’m inundated with constantly!! Thank you thank you for being here 💙
