You can thank these women for the values that have driven idyll. I watched my mama in the garden growing up, and learned how to care for plants and friends through her. 🌿

I come from a long line of strong southern women who cared about making people feel welcomed and fed. The hospitality and love for beauty that lives in my bones from them, has been a driving force behind the story of .mercantile.

So much of what I love comes from these women. So much of who we are comes from these stories we carry from the women all the way down the line.

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to my mom and all the moms, blood or chosen, who make life feel a little softer and more beautiful 🤍 we love you!!
