Wildscape Inc. I raise Caddisfly larva in a stream with gemstones to build their cases with. Then I make Jewelry ! They have been creating beautiful works of art!

The caddisfly is an aquatic insect that lives in streams, rivers, ponds and lakes. What is unique about this insect is that they build a protective case around their body to protect themselves from preditors and it is also the cocoon that they will emerge from to become an adult moth. I have been raising the caddisfly larva for over 20 years now. I bring the caddisfly larva into my simulated strea

m and give them gemstones to use in building their cocoons instead of the natural stones they use in the streams. It is now time for everyone to know about these amazing insects and what they mean to us and our aquatic ecosystems.
