⚠️ATTENTION ALL PRAYER WARRIORS!⚠️

Jen is one of the earring designers here at JAK Sprat! If you've loved a pair of Mini or Medium Mic Drops- it's likely she may have made them. 🩷 And her family could really use our prayers!

Here's the info about the sweet girl in the picture:
Neela is a 16 year old niece of Jen who underwent a series of brain surgeries this past Monday and Tuesday for a serious brain condition called arteriovenous malformation (AVM). The surgeries were successful in removing the AVM but she has some complications from the surgeries to overcome in these upcoming months.

Many positive things have happened since surgery. God continues to prove Neela is truly a miracle. Physical Therapy is working with her to retrain and “wake up” the muscles and nerves on the left side of her body. She has sensation on that side but no ability to move. However, we have already seen many miracles in Neela’s young life so we are confident she is capable of overcoming hard things. Doctors are hopeful that she will regain function in her left leg before her left arm. Her swelling should start to decrease within 10 to 14 days helping her to regain some of the function back on the left side. This was great news and good encouragement for her family. Neela was also able to break out of the PICU Friday evening and be transferred to a normal pediatric patient room. Another big praise! 🙌

Going forward ~ they would appreciate prayers for continued healing without further complications, for the inflammation and swelling to continue to decrease, for additional IV lines to be able to be removed, for patience for both Neela and family, and for rest for all of them. The family thanks you for your prayers and concern!

🩷They are anticipating she will be in the hospital for at least a month. If you've ever experienced an extended hospital stay, you know it can financially taxing. IF you would like to help support them during this time... I'll put my Venmo in the c0mments.

🩷All donations will help with medical bills, lodging, food, travel expenses and living expenses while they aren’t working. Anything and everything helps!
