embodies your story, your emotions and is inspired by the one you love. Every client will encounter the personalized, concierge service as part of our step-by-step Scout consultation process. You will work directly with our top designers where we will learn about your unique story, discuss your tastes and preferences, and understand your vision of the perfect engagement ring for the one you love. As your trusted design partner, we will have many communication touchpoints to ensure that your experience is collaborative and exciting, with no surprises. As we near the final stages of your custom piece, you will receive a 3-dimensional rendering of your ring where you will see the stunning elegance of your co-created heirloom. It is truly an exhilarating process, full of emotions when your one-of-a-kind
engagement ring arrives in the luxurious Scout box, complete with your gemstone certificate and a personal note from yourdesigner. Every Scout Fine Jewelry design is a custom, modern, timeless masterpiece that communicates a unique life/love story. Founder, Julie Martin, graduated with a B.A. in Applied Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Jewelry and Metals. She continued her passion by apprenticing under two master jewelers for several years gaining the experience needed to create fine jewelry. Simultaneously she started a fashion jewelry company with her pieces selling in hundreds of locations around the world. A decade later, she sold her fashion jewelry company, following her passion for creating one of-a-kind custom engagement rings and fine jewelry. She continued her education at the Gemological Institute of America and earned her Graduate of Diamonds degree. She has a trained eye for helping her customers find the perfect diamond to set in one of her beautiful designs. She has been creating custom engagement rings for the last 7 years and her designs are known for being truly special and luxurious. Julie’s vision of transforming the way custom engagement rings and jewelry are created has come to life in Scout Mandolin where her bespoke design process captures the art of love.

OUR WORK Scout Mandolin is a luxury brand that makes custom one of a kind engagement rings, wedding bands and fine jewelry. OUR NAME Scout Mandolin is intentionally evocative of past, present and future. ‘Scout’ is the soft, precise search for love manifest in design – the search for who he or she is and what makes him or her unique; ‘Mandolin’ is the allegorical essence of the sweet country melodies that captured Julie’s imagination as a girl growing up in the south. OUR VISION Design and create the finest quality custom engagement rings and jewelry, cut out the middle men to save our clients time and money, provide socially conscious diamonds that are the very best value and quality and use our innovative custom design process and decades of experience to help our clients capture the essence of their one true love. OUR STORY Founder, Julie Simpson, graduated with a B.A. in Applied Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Jewelry and Metals.
