When we started Calado, we only had very few designs. The Meravel and Clemencia were two of the few that paved the way for our future collections.

As the years went by, we were overwhelmed with the support of our clients and worked hard to preserve and promote the special technique of filigree. Our pieces are more than just aesthetic creations, but symbols of exquisite Filipino artistry, patience and the preservation cultural traditions.

Our Meravel pair was one of the first few designs we put out when we started Calado. Aside from applying the filigree technique, a spherical design was incorporated through the use of a metal block with “craters” of various sizes.

So much skill and love from our local artisans.❤️
