Hi, I'm Katy Schlegel. I am a traveler, fashionista and cultural anthropologist. A bit of a fashion geek really who never quite fit in.

I was frustrated with the big name brands and their cookie cutter fashion that is massed produced and often times unethically made.

So with my three passions in hand and a lot of help, I created Mariposa Skies for women and artisans who want to step out of the shadows of feeling invisible and into the light of being seen and noticed.
