Shop has been closed due to illness. Both baby Jacob and I have been ill and on medications. Hope to be back real soon. School preparation will be starting soon and we hope we can assist you all with your children's alterations, etc. Thanks for your patience. Ida and Gloria

FYI: I have had several customers tell me that they were told that either the shop had closed or that we don't do alterations anymore. The shop has been closed on occasion when I had surgery and had to stay home to recover. In the past 5 years I have had 5 major surgeries; and since I am the only one here at the shop, had no other option but to close until I was well enough to come back. And let me tell you, I am always eager to come back to work. I really try to stay on my regular schedule, but it has been difficult. I will be needing eye surgery and knee surgery later this year (hopefully I can wait until the end of the year) but I have babies coming and baby showers and weddings before the end of the year so I am very busy right now. If you see the open sign and/or my car, I am here and I am still doing alterations. I enjoy what I do and have met so many interesting people in the last 13 years. I hope to continue as long as I can see, walk and use my hands!!. LOL: a sewer is always a sewer. You will usually find me at my sewing machine. Wish there were more time to be more creative, but there's lots to do. Come by and browse soon. And thanks for everything.

Shop is open today, Monday. Not my usual day, but this week will be a short one. Will open Monday, Tues, Wednesday. Closed on Thurs/Friday this week only. Come by.
