Buzz buzz is one of our OG wookplug designs. We’ve kept it around this long for good reason, it’s hella cute. The way light dissipates through that honeycomb charm is truly gorgeous.

Have you ever heard ringing in your ears after a concert? That’s tinnitus. Don’t freak out- that doesn’t mean your hearing is totally screwed!

Here’s what’s happening: inside your inner ear, you have microscopic hair cells. When they’re healthy, they stand tall like blades of grass, swaying along with sound waves to send clear signals to your brain. Loud music stresses and stomps them down, which scrambles those signals. Your brain interprets that noise as ringing.

Good news- some of this damage is temporary! Give your ears quiet rest for 48 hours, and those hair cells can perk right back up. 5 things i dont do as a wook!

Why would I give $2,000 a month to a scummy landlord for four walls and a mailing address when Mother Earth already provided me with 510 million square kilometers of free housing? I refuse to participate in the capitalist illusion that I need to purchase access to the planet I was born on.

If you’ve survived a festival portapotty, you have been spiritually prepared for the Walmart bathroom. The human body is an ecosystem, and sometimes ecosystems interact with public infrastructure.

I already dissolved my ego once and honestly it was way too much work putting it back together. I don’t need to meet the cosmic consciousness again until she sends me a calendar invite.

I may forget my tent. I may forget deodorant. I may forget what day it is. But I will NEVER forget my earplugs because I keep them tethered to me with WOOKPLUGS!

4 years ago, Shabang was where it all began for Wook Plugs 🤩 The very first festival we vended, our very first taste of what this wild journey could become. Now it’s Year 4 and it just keeps getting better! This place shaped us, and returning every year feels like coming home 🤍

Watching Shabang grow from a band on Cuesta Ridge to a full two-day celebration has been nothing short of magical ✨ I will never forget hiking up the grade on a rainy April Saturday in 2016, only to get to the top to hear they had to shut down because of the storm. ⚡️ There was a full blown party with hundreds of people who just wanted to dance, vibing out on a rainy hilltop. It was then that we knew we had found our people 💫🎶 If only we had Wook Plugs then…
