We need to ask ourselves, What does God Almighty require from JUDAH and the LEVITES in these latter days? His answer lies in Isaiah 66:1-4. As you will see the sacrifices and offerings will NOT be Popular, for He who kills a BULL will be as if he SLEW a MAN, etc etc. If you are serious and He knows your attitudes then you will read this Scripture, for He is your LIFE and your True Destiny as revealed by many of His HOLY PROPHETS for these latter days. God Almighty's Prophet Daniel (Ch 12) reveals that YOU will BUILD His TEMPLE with the appointed sacrifices and offerings but they will come to a SWIFT END as Daniel shows. Even now my soul is weeping for my brothers of the House of JUDAH because of the SORE TRIALS that are soon to follow BUT keep faith your trial will last for a short season of years and your DELIVERER will rescue you and will make you a GREAT NAME above all nations of the earth and they and their kings and rulers and all who HATED you will come swiftly and will bow down to you and they will know that God Almighty has favored you with an Everlasting Visitation that shall Never again be cut off (Isaiah Chs 60 and 61 and 62; Hosea 2:14-23; Hosea Ch 3; Hosea 13:14; Hosea Ch 14; Zephaniah 3:8-20; Jeremiah 12:14-17; Isaiah Ch 11; Isaiah Ch 2; Micah 4:1-5; and many many more Scriptures).

THE 9TH OF AV: A TIME TO MOURN?... A TIME TO BUILD!

"A time to weep." Rashi states simply: Tish'a b'Av. "A time to build." Rashi quotes from the prophet Amos: "On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and repair its breaches; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old..."

It may seem odd to quote from Kohelet (Ecclesasties), written by King Solomon, rather than Eicha (Lamentations), written by the prophet Jeremiah, which describes the laying to waste of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar. But the scroll of Kohelet, written by King Solomon, who built the House of G-d, whose loss is commemorated by Eicha, has much to teach us concerning the destruction and rebuilding of the Holy Temple:

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up..."

ANALYSIS: Why do US politics seem so focused on Israel, when the median American voter doesn’t view Israel as a priority?

In April 2024, during the war in Gaza, a Pew poll on Americans’ top foreign policy priorities found that “finding a solution to the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians” was in 14th place out of 22 options.

Also in 2024, a Gallup poll asked registered voters an open-ended question about the most important factor determining their vote. The top issues were the economy, immigration, abortion, the preservation of democracy and disliking a particular candidate. No foreign policy positions made the list.

Taken as a whole, the research indicates non-Jewish Americans are increasingly hostile to Israel, but aren’t actually focused on Israel or foreign policy while voting.

So what’s going on here?
