Let's revisit the "Hat Creek Outfit" rings

I chose these rings to represent my four favorite characters that are part of the Hat Creek outfit. Gus, Deets, Newt and Call. I truly can't pick a favorite out of those four. I was actually listening to the audiobook in the grocery store when Deets met his fate. I looked like a crazy person crying in the produce section!! Each of these characters were so beautifully brought to life in this book and they all had very important roles in the story.

When I was reading this book and thinking about this collection, I knew that I had to have a big statement piece to honor Clara. I chose this piece because it reminds me of a flower. Clara talks in the book about how all she plants them every year with her girls and the wind always blows them away. For some reason, that part just really stuck with me. Clara is someone who takes care of everyone, the house, Bob, the horses... everything. All she wants it something simple like flowers. I hope whoever ends up with this piece, they are always reminded of the simple things in life.
