After almost 3 years of serving the beautiful women of our community and beyond with handcrafted, upcycled, and curated collectible jewelry that we poured our heart & soul into, we have prayerfully made the decision to officially close Gilded with Grace. It’s with deep mixed emotions that we do this…
My husband retires from the military and starts his new career right after Christmas and we’ll be moving back to the Southeast (near all our family!) next spring as soon as school’s out, so we’re already in the preparation stages for that. My children are also getting older and need my full, undivided attention as they grow and mature with more commitments and responsibilities on their plates. All of that, along with some other “big life changes” on the horizon for our family, means it’s time to close this chapter.
We have absolutely loved every second of working with local vendors, participating in various markets and local artist events, experiencing such love and generosity from all the small business owners within our community who hosted us for little pop-ups here & there and - most of all - for YOU all, our faithful customers. Thank you for sharing Gilded with Grace like you did, for your support and encouragement, for your purchases, and for just being awesome!
I included a picture of my other daughter, Grace, here since she was a cofounding member of Gilded with Grace. We started this business during one of our homeschool mornings going on 3 years ago now over cups of coffee & tea in our bathrobes ☕️☕️🧥😆
The Lord put it on our hearts to start a small business together in order to bond closer as my girls entered their teen years and He gave us the name, “Gilded with Grace” since we wanted each of our customers - from age 8 to 98 - to feel the love of the Lord as she wore one of our special pieces…that she would know she is fearfully, wonderfully, and beautifully made in His image and that she was special and unique, just like our pieces. God led us step-by-step in this business and now we give it back to Him.
If you’d like to leave a little message below of what Gilded with Grace has meant to you over the years, please do so! We’d love to hear from you! We’ll be closing this page but will keep it open over the next few days if you’d like to leave a comment 🥰
Moving forward…
We plan to attend a number of local vendor events for the remainder of the year in order to sell off our remaining inventory. We also still plan to feature handmade pieces at the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce visitor center between now and through the holidays. So if you happen to find us at an event, we’d love to give you a hug and feel free to check out our remaining pieces!
Thank you again, San Angelo, for being absolutely amazing. You all are some of the most supportive patrons of small businesses we’ve ever come into contact with and we’ve lived all over the country, so that says something! God bless you all!!
Much love & gratefulness, Lizzy
Katy will be writing her own “thank you” message and posting her own collage soon here, stay tuned 💕
