Hello Midwest Oregon APA Players. We had our Spring Tri-Annuals last weekend. It was little packed, but we made do and pushed through it. Thank you all for working together.
We had 32 teams qualifying for Tri-Annuals and out of the 32 we had 8 teams qualifying for World’s in June. Congratulations to all the winners.
We started off on Friday night, packed the house at Phil’s, Jammers and Blue Diamond. We did the same thing on Saturday morning. This eliminated a few teams right off the bat. Gate Keepers, Chalk Tua, Brews & Cues, Double Kiss This, For the Cause, Jay’s Kolby’s Kats, Hot Damn, & We didn’t know. We had 4 teams go undefeated and won their spot to Worlds. Those teams were Chalk & Awe, Randy’s Renegades, Shenanigans, & Pocket Protectors. Good job, Congratulations to all of you.
On the backside of the bracket, we had some great matches. We had The Good, the Bad & the Ugly, take-out Chalk & Roll, Navigators, Double Kiss this. They played Hot Pockets in the last match and fell short to get the win and a spot in Worlds.
12th Street Dojo took out Smooth Strokers, and Chalk Tua. They came up against Dysfunctional Adults who were able to take the win and come back Sunday morning to face Deadpool. Dead Pool hung in there, but Dysfunctional Adults were able to take the win and are now off to Worlds in June.
Here & There was able to go undefeated on the back side of the bracket and won their spot in Worlds. Pocket Lint was also able to secure their spot in World’s by taking out the Honey Badgers. Congratulations to all the players. Everyone shot well. We had one player who had a mastectomy less than 3 weeks ago and she was playing her heart out!! Kudo to you, Cami Cox. You did a great job.
We would like to thank all the players for their great sportsmanship, the referee’s Morey Marks, Alex Lofton, Shawn Self, Jimmy Arellanes and of course Glenn Maresh. It’s not easy being a ref and having the players want to argue or disagree with you. We appreciate you all more than you know. Thank you again for your help.
We would like to thank Phil’s Bar & Grill, Jammers, & Blue Diamond & staff for hosting and serving all the players all day long. We really appreciate you and all you do for these players. World for 8 Ball is June 5th-7th.

Hello Midwest Oregon Pool players
We were in Vegas for the PoolPlayers Championship.
8-Ball Singles - we only had one and that was Sierra Alford she played great and was 65th out of 158 players.
We had 3 players in the 9-ball Singles division.
Phillip Hupp was 49th out of 116 players.
Mike Harlow was 65th out of 225 players.
Ashley Rogers was 129th out of 225 players.

Jack and Jill, David Sorci & Michell Wise were 129th out of 256 teams.

Doubles 8-ball we had 2 teams.
Moe Crazy with Chris Moe and Terri Riley they were 129th out of 384 teams.
War & Peace with Sara Vaughn and Brad Vaughn also was in the 129th out of 384 teams.

9-Ball doubles we had 3 teams
Watford Wives - Mo Watson and Betsy Alford did great and were 65th out of 384 teams and got into the money. Good job!
Felt Friends - Royce de Vries and Stacie Larson were at 193rd out of 383 teams
Dynamic Duo - Kelly Walters and Brandon Buckley were 257 out of 383 teams.
Our Ladies teams did very well they started off on fire. Kept going until the last match when the other team knocked them out. Cindy Garvin, Amy Garvin, Madison Anderson, Mckenzie Plummer, Megan Block. They ended up 33rd out of 256 teams. Well done!

Then there was our Masters Team - Jimmy Farmer, Joseph Farmer, Jon Mesa, Zack Zager.
They played lights out and kept us busy streaming their matches. The made it to the Final Bracket and made it into the Pooldawg Arena. They played their hearts out in the last match but couldn’t get the win to make it to the final table. They ended up 3rd out of 378 teams. Incredible!
We are so proud of ALL that played in Vegas and represented us with Great attitudes and sportsmanship!
We also want to Thank Jam Up Apparel for getting the shirts there on time and the shirts looked great.
