So it was about 6pm and the girlies who attended my class were all sitting and waiting for the whipped wax to be brought to their table. I was wearing a 30 inch bust down. You know nothing out of the norm for me and I go grab the mixer to bring to their table filled with the nice warm cupcake scented wax and I felt a tug and I thought my daughter pulled my hair, but to my surprise, it was my wig, raveling up in the KitchenAid mixer blade !!!!’ Within two seconds it was ripped completely off of my head. I don’t think any wig glue was gonna stand a chance up against this mixer and there I was standing before my class with my wig in the mixer. Needless to say we were able to cut the wig out of the mixer and carry on. Thank God I have my reel hair underneath of my wigs. This was one for the books if you were there and remember this comment below . 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This is your sign to make a vision board. Get your goals out of your mind and onto paper. Who cares if it’s even 4 months from now. Start where you are. You can achieve it if you can see it.
This was such a beautiful and enjoyable activity I did with my daughters. It was tranquil and moody and so relaxing. I am a crafter by nature I love it ! Making this vision board was so meaningful. I’m excited to see what comes out of this year from this board….i think we are going to do this again tomorrow !!

We went to Marietta GA last month. We used to live there. Very humbling times but to come back there and actually enjoy the area. What a beautiful place with beautiful people. We really enjoyed December to the fullest. From NY to GA down to right at home in Florida with the amazing people we call our friends. Thanking God for another year.

I’ve been really intentional lately about self-improvement, but not in a “fix everything about myself” way. More like a heal what I ignored, protect my energy, and build a life that actually feels good way.

This season has been about slowing down enough to hear myself think. Letting go of the pressure to constantly prove something. Learning that growth doesn’t always look productive — sometimes it looks like rest, reflection, and choosing what feels aligned instead of what looks impressive.

I’m realizing that personal growth isn’t loud. It’s quiet confidence. It’s choosing peace over chaos. It’s walking away when something doesn’t feel right. It’s honoring how far you’ve come without rushing who you’re becoming.

I’m proud of the version of me that keeps showing up — even on the days she’s tired, unsure, or still figuring it out. The version of me that believes in soft discipline, emotional intelligence, and doing life at my own pace. The one who romanticizes small moments, trusts her intuition, and understands that healing isn’t linear.

This chapter is about self-love, mindset shifts, and creating a life that supports my mental health, not drains it. Less noise. More intention. Less pressure. More presence.

If you’re in a season where you’re rebuilding, redefining, or realigning — you’re not behind. You’re becoming. And that’s enough. I’m so excited to create a life that serves me and to grow a community of women who I can call my tribe!

One thing I will always love: pretty pastries that actually taste as good as they look 🤍
At Salswee, the desserts feel like edible art — glossy domes, soft colors, and flavors that wake up your senses.

They were sold out of the mango pastries (devastating, honestly), but the orange pastry completely redeemed the moment. When I tell you real, actual orange juice pours out of it… not a hint, not a note — the real thing. Bright, fresh, and so satisfying.

And the Flower Power pastry? Absolutely invigorating. Light, floral, creamy, and unexpected in the best way — the kind of dessert you remember long after you leave Manhattan. No wonder these NY fruit pastries are viral. The hard shell is so satisfying when you get the bursting flavor from the inside !

Pretty pastries in NYC will always have my heart 🗽🍰
