"Von Collection" is a series of jewelry named after the ancient Mediterranean city in Historical Armenia, "Von." They came from the Kingdom of Urartu (wiki: urartu) and were a sun-worshipping pagan tribe that controlled connections the Silk Road made between Asia and Europe in the earliest records. Every piece Von Cartel produces reflects this history and feels magical!

Luboks are folk art prints which were incredibly popular in 17th-19th century Russia. They were often satirical – like this one, which depicts a popular character known as the Cat of Kazan. The text, in Russian, reads “The Cat of Kazan, in the manner of Astrakhan, by reason of Siberia, lives gloriously, manages agreeably, and farts sweetly.” Historians surmise that this may have been a caricature of Peter the Great.
