Getting ready for the 2026 Detroit River walleye bite; coated 100 1 oz jigs with chartreuse powder coating. I run the oven upside down. It provides more vertical space. Good luck to everyone this spring.

I caught this smallmouth on a slow day for me on Lake Saint Clair casting a white swim bait off the bow while trolling other rigs. Canadian side east of the Dumping Grounds.

Fished Green Lake near Chelsea Michigan for panfish. Nothing but runts for us using worms under a float. Ramp is choked with weeds.

7/7/25 fished the dumping grounds from 6:30 am to 10 am. Caught a few smallmouth bass and big perch. First hour was best. Pick was the go to color; lures pictured with fish.
