Attack of the GPs. (Girard Perregaux)

First up is an extremely rare concrete dial automatic housing the Gyromatic 460 caliber. Currently NFS.

Next is a beautiful GP featuring exotic center lugs in beautiful condition which features a manual winding caliber and sub seconds at 6 o’clock. Will be available per DM or on my shop shortly.

Last is a rare colorway Blue dial GP quartz running beautifully. This is also available on request and will be in my shop shortly.

Even my cats are watch lovers. 🐈 ⌚️

Freshly serviced in my shop. This Croton 1878 Troparctic manual wind is simple, yet elegant. A perfect throw on the wrist and run some errands or out for a casual dinner type of watch.

It came in fairly decent shape but in need of a very light handed polish on the case and crystal. A tiny bit of curved regrain around the lugs. The movement was running but was sn*******ng the timegrapher with a 5.2ms beat error. After a full teardown, clean, oil and adjust we have her hitting at 260 amplitude with 0.1ms beat error and +5 seconds a day.

I call this a win.

A little WIG WIM (What I Got, What I made) for your sunday.

Vintage Kronatron wrist diver manual wind.

*What I Got status - Non-running, gear train pivot holes gunked up with old oil, keyless works not winding mainspring barrel properly, scratched crystal, bezel insert fell out as I was working on it, and bands old gold tone was nearly worn off and band was pretty rough.

*What I Made status - COA on movement, now up and running at 294 amplitude within +4 seconds per day, keyless fixed, watch winds and sets time properly, polished crystal, deep cleaned case, bezel insert and band. Polished the old worn gold off the band and re/grained the inner links and polished the outer.

Overall, very happy with the way this turned out. I really like the lume fallout around the indices on the dial.
