As per my usual over-excited, creative self, there are zero before pics of these thrifted, clear glass bottles and vases.

None are perfectly-perfect, but all are perfectly-imperfect. Spray paint is gonna do as spray paint does and you gotta just go along with it (note that texture on the little white vase... it happens. I like it.)

Also - these are a couple-few weeks in the making between rain, wind, humidity, and life busy-ness. But, they do make me smile.

Periodically, on a maker's to-do list, 'retire piece/ deconstruct' shows up.

It happens. It's no one's fault.
But, my Blingy Folks, it can sometimes be a heart-hurting task.
And, sometimes, I just can't quite do it...

This is one of those times. 🐦

Pictured is the gorgeous 20" black accented necklace with rusty-taupe pearls, more green than blue translucent apatite, the shiniest (and most interesting) soft-sand hued fossil agates. The clasp is a meant-to-be-seen over-sized hook and hoop with more dangling blingy bits - including a tiny key!

Blue skies, golden rays, and puffy clouds - that's exactly what this necklace reminds me of! 🌤🌤🌤

Baroque white pearls, tiny golden-blue Czech glass beads in between, and an off-center row of lamp-work glass beads (swoon!) necklace with golden-brassy bits. Adjustable (17" - 18.5") makes it even better!

Today, let's talk about pretty-pretty pearls. 🧐

They start with an irritating bit of sand in the oyster's shell. That oyster deals with this annoyance by surrounding it with layers and layers of nacre. 🦪

It's extra energy and labor that I'm pretty sure the creature would prefer to expend elsewhere. BUT - us blingies appreciate the oyster's sacrifice and it's ultimate pearly results. It's inspiring. 🤩

The effort to contain that bad thing leads to something beautiful, the pain and the inconvenience is imminently worth it. You understand, right? 😎
