Hello friends,
I have recently accepted a full time position with a local company; therefore I will be pursuing a buyer for my business, Mustardseed Menagerie. This decision has come with some sadness. I still believe this was a God inspired venture and I’m sure there will be a “silver lining” to all of this, but presently, it remains a financial burden. If there’s anything to take away from this, are all the great friends I’ve made from my customer base as well as the other downtown business owners. What a great group!

Ultimately, my wish would be to sell the inventory and the LLC to keep the Fair Trade Principle growing in awareness and support. A youth group could offer a seasonal shop within their church, an individual could reinvent the shop here or at another location (perhaps Fayetteville), or a partnership may work better as a team to keep ideas fresh and moving forward.

If I cannot find a buyer, then I’ll be liquidating and selling product at greatly reduced pricing. This will take place in November-December. I will post more information on Mustardseed Menagerie’s page as well as my personal page. Please share this information with your friends and family if you think they may have an interest in buying the business or just to enjoy the savings on markdowns.

I’d like to take this time to thank you for your support and encouragement over the last 2 years. This has been an extremely hard decision. My devotion to the Fair Trade Principles remains very close to my heart and I will continue to support it personally. Downtown Rogers Oktoberfest will feature a gourmet bratwurst meal featuring authentic, handmade brats and German potato salad from the NWACC Culinary School on Sat., Oct. 19 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Proceeds support the work of Main Street Rogers in preserving and promoting Downtown Rogers.
