Doing a little prep for our upcoming engagement photos and had to photograph this piece on its own first. 🤍

My original engagement ring was a turquoise ring that was chosen, in part, because it was something that could comfortably fit my finger at the time. Over the years, it eventually became too big for me, but the meaning behind it never changed.

Going into our engagement photos, I wanted something that still honored that original ring and what it represents between Phil and I, while feeling like a reflection of where we are now.

I reached out to Cole with the idea, and he created this piece as an intentional reimagining of my original engagement ring. He took the story behind something that already meant so much to Phil and I and turned it into something completely unique while still feeling connected to the original.

And somehow, he managed to make the original turquoise part of the story too… but I’m saving that for another post. 🤍

Thank you, Cole, for taking something so meaningful to us and creating something that feels so personal and so completely me. I cannot wait to wear it in our engagement photos and have another piece of this part of our story documented.
