3 & 1/2 quilts in 2 months. I say 3 & 1/2 because the medium sized Disney one was more than halfway done before I started my marathon session. 😁 This is a record! Previous record was 2 quilts in 2 months and they were baby quilts that I made BEFORE I had kids 🤣
The first quilt was the Hello Kitty baby quilt for my son's teacher. Really gave myself props on that one because I had 3 weeks to do it and got it to her 2 days before school let out. 😁🙌
The second was a custom order Fandom quilt for my OG bestie. I'm calling it The Imperial Quilt 🤣
The third one took waaay too long for me to finish for my liking, but it is the biggest t-shirt quilt that I've done to date. Difficulty was set on Easy mode...until Joann's went out of business and that gray Mickey fabric got discontinued. 🤦♀️ I got what I could from Etsy and Ebay and had just enough to have half a yard leftover. I lucked out and found the white Mickey fill in fabric at Michael's and took every yard they had- again, with roughly half a yard leftover.
All in all, I had too much fun with these! 😁 And it did emphasize the need for an actual quilting machine because i struggled getting the bigger quilts through my machine (was nearly in tears on the Big Mickey one!) Had to get Doug and the kids to help me reposition the quilt as I went 🤦♀️
One last overdue project to knock out and then I'll be switching to conference and convention mode! 😁
