Continuing our Meet the Team series ✨

Meet Ken, one of our Sales Professionals and a true timepiece enthusiast at Cornell’s Jewelers.

One of Ken’s favorite parts of his role is being part of life’s biggest milestones—from wedding rings to meaningful timepieces that mark special moments and memories. For him, building lasting relationships with customers is what makes the job so fulfilling.

Family is at the center of everything for Ken. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and kids, watching sports and movies together, and making memories as a family. He believes time is one of life’s greatest luxuries, especially when spent with the people you love most.

One thing people may be surprised to learn? Ken’s grandparents were one of the first Latino families to migrate to Rochester. Serving and giving back to the community has always been a huge part of his family’s story and something that continues to shape who he is today.

And when it comes to food, some of his favorite local spots are Guidas Pizza, Pizza Nota, Saucy Chef, Mad Hatters, and Char.

Next on our Meet the Team series ✨

Meet Nicole, our Marketing Director at Cornell’s Jewelers.💎

Nicole handles all things branding, social media, marketing, and the events and experiences created for customers throughout the year. One of her favorite parts of her role is being able to combine creativity and strategy. She loves creating new content, planning fun experiences and promotions, and finding new ways to connect with customers and the community.

Outside of work, family time is everything to her. Sunday dinners have always been one of her favorite traditions and some of her favorite memories growing up. She also loves trying new restaurants and foods with her husband and spending weekends watching football and F1 racing.

A fun fact? Nicole’s love for pizza started at a very young age. Her parents owned a small pizzeria in Webster when she was growing up, and she was definitely spoiled getting pizza delivered to school for lunch most of the time. Safe to say… pizza is still one of her favorite foods, tied with pasta of course.

A few favorites: Some of Nicole’s comfort shows include Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and Bar Rescue. When it comes to local dining spots, The Winfield, La Bella Vita, Michael’s Valley Grill, and Next Door Bar & Grill are her go-to’s.

Continuing our Meet the Team series ✨ Meet Amanda, one of our Expert Jewelers!

Amanda enjoys the variety and problem solving that comes with each piece she works on. From repairs to custom details, she loves that every project is different and brings something new to learn and create.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys relaxing with her cat, going to the gym, and taking walks whenever she can. One thing people may be surprised to learn? She’s currently perfecting her at-home matcha recipe.

A favorite: Her current favorite show is Beef. Stay tuned as we continue introducing more of the team behind Cornell’s Jewelers.

Meet Jenna, our Merchandise Planning Analyst✨

Jenna works closely with Courtney on diamond buying, assortment planning, and helping curate collections that feel meaningful, wearable, and memorable for our customers. One of her favorite parts of the job is predicting trends and helping decide which pieces people will truly connect with during different seasons, holidays, and life moments.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, Pilates, and traveling. One thing people may be surprised to learn? She’s really good at making homemade pasta and sauce!

A few favorites: She’s a big Buffalo Bills fan, and some of her favorite places to grab dinner are Next Door, Carmela’s, Branca Midtown, and Patron Saint. We’re excited to keep introducing more of the people behind Cornell’s Jewelers throughout our Meet the Team series.

Another Monday, so we are continuing our Meet the Team series! ✨

Meet Heidi, one of our Front Desk Receptionists. As the first point of contact at Cornell’s, Heidi plays an important role in setting the tone for every guest experience—whether in person or over the phone. She believes that jewelry is deeply emotional, and being an active listener while confidently guiding guests helps create a comfortable and welcoming experience from the very beginning.

What she enjoys most is being part of people’s happy moments—an engagement, a meaningful gift, or the reworking of a family heirloom. Before joining Cornell’s, Heidi had a career in international education at a local university, advising students planning to study abroad and working with international students on campus. She was also honored with a Fulbright International Education Administrators grant to Germany.

Outside of work, she loves traveling—especially when it includes experiencing great food along the way. A favorite: She enjoys watching Finding Your Roots and is fascinated by how history, research, and DNA can uncover stories that go back hundreds of years.

Courtney loves focusing on the buying side of the business and building relationships within the Rochester community-something that continues to make Cornell's Jewelers such a special place.

Outside of work, she's extremely competitive and loves playing any racquet sport. Most of her time is spent with her family—especially at her kids' sporting events-and she always looks forward to large family dinners on the weekends.

A few CC's favorites: Some of her go-to date night spots right now include Avvino, Redwood, Black & Blue, and Next Door.

Meet Jennifer Bleecker, one of our sales professionals✨

Jennifer loves working one-on-one with clients to find the perfect piece for life's most meaningful occasions-whether it's a marriage, anniversary, new baby, or wedding. Being part of those special moments is what she enjoys most about her job.

Outside of the store, she stays busy with a wide range of hobbies-from paddle, tennis, and golf to cooking, gardening, reading, and practicing yoga!

When it comes to dining out, she has plenty of favorites around Rochester, but Redd is always a go-to.

A fun fact? Jennifer was a talented figure skater in her younger years-something many people are surprised to learn.

Meet Michael Cornell, our CEO.✨

What Michael enjoys most about his role is the people.

From meeting someone for the first time to hearing stories from generations of Cornell's couples, he loves learning what meaningful moment brought them into the store-whether it's a new beginning, a milestone, or a memory being celebrated again.

Outside of work, you'll usually find him spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their kids-often on a ball field or playing anything that involves a racquet.

A few of MC's favorites: As a Syracuse University alum, he proudly supports Cuse athletics, is a Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoys dining at local favorites like Avvino, Black & Blue, Redd, and Next Door.
