We're pleased to announce the addition of True North Artisans to the gift stores handling our unique, one-of-a-kind wood jewelery! Their new store, on 15 Fairfax Road (on the corner of Merchants Rd.) in Rochester opens on July 4th. Visit them and you'll find a very nice selection of jewelry, pottery, fabric items, art of many types, gift boxes and much more. This is our 8th retail location. We wish Sandie Gauger much success in her new venture and are delighted to be a part of her new store.

Just posted a half dozen new money clips. They are the first products to carry the new Annscoolwoodjewelry brand - ACWJ in a small oval. You will be seeing more of this unique brand on all future products. In the case of these money clips and many larger creations like pendants, the brand is burned directly into the wood. For small items like earrings, we are attaching the brand using a small rectangle of rough-sawn oak, with the brand burned in to that. Most of the new money clips are made from Brasilian Cherry - aka Jatoba - a rich, fine-grained wood from Brazil (you probably already figured that out). One of them is created from Black and White Ebony from Africa. Check all of these new products out at our site at www.annscoolwoodjewelry.com or our Etsy site of the same name.

Delighted to announce that we have just signed up our 7th retail shop: Zak's Avenue at 661 South Avenue in Rochester. This is absolutely one of the coolest shops in the city. The owner - Deb - has a keen eye for somewhat unusual and intriguing gift and home items, everything from signs to housewares to jewelry to clothes to lawn ornaments to decorative boxes and on and on and on. You could spend a couple of hours in this store and still not see everything she has to offer. But if you're looking for a gift or just something cool for yourself, put Zak's Avenue on your list of go-to shops. You won't be disappointed.

Just posted a number of new products, including four new money clips that all use the new, larger size idea and six new pendants. The pendants are all multi-piece creations that incorporate compound angles so the pieces curve in various ways. New woods too, including Chico Zapote, a Mexican/Central American fruit tree that is seldom harvested. Big news: Aaron's Alley on Monroe Avenue is the latest place to display our cool wood jewelry! They will be showing our money clips, keychains and pendants in their main display case, right out front in the store. Aaron's Alley has always been one of the very coolest places in the city to shop for unusual items like clothing, candles, smoking accessories, metal jewelry and now....our unique, one-of-a-kind wood jewelry. Anns cool wood jewelry signs another retailer! Just finished a meeting with Jean Westcott, the very nice owner of The Artful Gardener at 727 Mt. Hope Avenue. She will be displaying our wood jewelry, including money clips, earrings, pins and pendant necklaces. The Artful Gardener is Rochester's coolest source of wildly wonderful garden stuff - pots from giant to small, wind chimes, garden gnomes, fountains and dozens of other groovy things for your garden. Just posted a couple more sets of earrings to www.annscoolwoodjewelry.com and our same-name site on Etsy. One of them uses the new veneer swirl technique I am developing. That's getting some positive comments from folks who see Ann wearing these earrings, and I have some ideas for further development of this idea in the future. Stay tuned.
