I’m excited to share that I’ll be at the M&T Bank Clothesline Art & Fine Craft Festival at the Memorial Art Gallery (Memorial Art Gallery) August 29th + 30th! This art festival has been Rochester’s biggest celebration of the arts for nearly 70 years—featuring work for sale by 300+ artists, live music, food trucks, hands-on family activities, and access to the museum.

I did a talk at the Memorial Art Gallery about vendor booth safety/being a craft show artist if anyone might be interested. It’s intended to help artists improve their booth set up/have a positive experience at any outdoor craft fair. It’s a bit tailored to the Clothesline Festival, but I think there are some good take aways for any show!

So many personal favorites found homes this weekend at the Lakefront Art Festival and I couldn’t be more grateful! I regret not getting more (lol any) pictures of my booth as we had an incredible view of the lake 😎

Big thanks to my trusty booth assistant and good friend Third Bloom Studios for being the best companion and helper I could ever ask for. Cher deserves lots of 👏👏👏

I really appreciate everyone who picked up a little treat from me this year, especially those who sought out my booth from last year. I was so touched by many of our interactions and was reminded of WHY I love shows— it’s because of you!

Thank you to everyone who mentioned my ring holder designs at recent shows— it reminded me that I hadn’t made them in a while!

Once in the studio, I also noticed I hadn’t some resistance to making them because I didn’t want to do as I had done in years past. It was time to evolve. As these two new ideas came through, I felt a sense of excitement and challenge in bringing them to life. Both are in sterling silver and moonstone with a touch of 14k included in the one on the right. I’ll have them with me at my next market our local Corn Hill Arts Festival coming up July 11th + 12th ☀️😎👋

***featured piece is a hand carved onyx German cameo depicting a mother and child set in sterling with 14k gold accents. I’ve had this stone for 3 years and it always intimidated me to work with until this week. Turns out, still intimidating but it had to be done!! 😮‍💨😅
