Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is not just a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer — it is a solemn day of reflection, gratitude, and honor.
We remember those who gave their lives so that we may live in freedom. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Let us also hold in our hearts the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day.
May we honor their legacy not just today, but in how we live, serve, and care for one another.
Thank you to all who have served, and especially to those who never made it home.
