I've been walking the beach for as long as I can remember looking for pretty things the sea sends my way. I share my love for the sea with my 3 kids and have been making jewelry since I was little. -I started making jewelry when I was 6, I had every kit imaginable to create. Friendship bracelets were my all time favorite to make. I'd sit for hours with string pinned to my jeans weaving away.
-In college I designed and created for a NYC based jewelry maker who produced a line of jewelry for Nordstrom. A few years ago, after 3 kids in 3 years, I started making jewelry again.
-Living my entire life within 5 minutes to a beach, specifically the North Fork of Long Island, I've always collected seaglass. My kids and I comb the local beach for sea glass, each piece is hand picked and genuine. I knew I had to do something special with them so North Fork Sea & Sky was born.
-I love making one of a kind pieces that speak to my soul, and hopefully yours too.
-I love textures and am truly inspired by nature and it's raw beauty, I'm a hippie at heart and I love everything boho inspired. I hope you love my pieces as much as I love creating them. No two pieces are exactly the same.
*I take a lot of pride in my work, each piece is hand picked right of the local beaches of Long Island, NY. I pay close attention to detail so it takes me time to pick out the best pieces to work with. Freehand drilled hearts can take up to 45 minutes each to create, tails take me up to 2 hours to create.
