Before you were ever formed in your mother’s womb, Heaven already knew your name.
Before your first cry, your purpose already had a pulse.
Today, I want to pause and honor every woman who has carried love in one form or another.
The mothers.
The grandmothers.
The daughters becoming mothers.
The women praying for children.
The women grieving children.
The women who mothered people they did not give birth to.
The aunties, the mentors, the spiritual mothers, the bonus mothers, the women who carried generations with their prayers while their own hearts were breaking silently.
Motherhood is more than biology.
It is sacrifice.
It is wisdom.
It is endurance.
It is covering.
It is the ability to keep loving when you are tired, keep giving when nobody sees, and keep believing God even in seasons that don’t make sense.
As a daughter, I understand the blessing of being poured into.
As a mother and grandmother, I understand the responsibility of pouring back out.
As a wife, I understand partnership.
As a coach and mentor, I understand what it means to help birth purpose in people.
And today, my heart is especially with those whose mothers have gone on before them.
I know today can feel heavy for some.
Certain songs hurt differently today.
Certain memories echo louder today.
Certain hugs are deeply missed today.
But hear me clearly…
Love like a mother’s never dies.
Her prayers still speak.
Her wisdom still lives.
Her fingerprints are still on your life.
To every mother reading this:
Thank you for your yes.
Thank you for your sacrifices.
Thank you for carrying purpose, protecting legacy, and nurturing generations.
And to every woman still becoming all that God created her to be…
You are seen.
You are valuable.
You are necessary.
You are deeply loved.
Happy Mother’s Day to every culture, every tribe, every nation, and every woman whose love helped shape this world. 🌸
