My husband never ceases to amaze me. I went to this sculpture show in New Hope. () (Love to get inspired by other people’s work.) Got very excited about a couple of pieces. I show them on my phone to my husband and he goes “that looks like my friend Andy’s big brother John’s work- it looks like a car”. I end up looking up the artist and realize it is John Rogers, the brother. My husband tells me all these stories about him and how my he used to ride to high school in the back of his Chevelle. “He was meticulous about his work”, (cars) even in the 70’s. He just glanced at the piece and knew who the artist was. I feel like maybe he should be the artist in the family 😀 It shows how art (and an artist) stays with you.
