You know, I had an experience with a male Karen today. On one of these buy and sell groups. For the last year, because we are passionate about it but ourselves cannot afford to donate to any causes any more amount than about $20 a month, we started a charity yard sale thing where we sell both online and during good months of the year yard sales at our big property in Reno nevada. Then we donate the proceeds to autism research epilepsy research and the humane society. We donate locally through the autism and epilepsy departments of the local University and directly to our humane society on longley lane. We only started this a year ago so we're still getting off the ground but, in taking in large amounts of donations and sorting through them, figuring out what they are and what their value is, any human being can make a simple error especially when they are working without much backup help. So I made an error and mislabeled a sports collector's glass has a cardinal when it was really something like southern Kentucky University gamecock or something along those lines. Didn't find out what it really was until I had my Karen experience. So in one of the buy and sell groups here in Reno this damn male Karen comes on to the comment section of my post in the comments section and in the most snarky and condescending way calls me out on my simple mistake of what team the glass is for. I mean most people would have told you politely but this guy had to be snarky and condescending to call me out over a simple human error. I explained to him what I am all about. That I'm an ordained minister who's disabled from back injury. And I started this because I'm passionate about raising money for these causes. I have two autistic children 14 years old and 8 years old both boys. The younger one also has a genetic defect from the maternal side that causes severe and unpredictable epileptic seizures. Our dog, his service dog that detects these seizures is also a rescue dog. As I said we are very passionate about the causes we are out there trying to help, and we are not making a dime off of this. Yes we charge a small recovery fee of about 10% on each sale but that only pays for poster boards and paint and my time to go out and put signs in a 4-mile radius. Mind you with my bad back I'm doing this while walking and pushing a cargo cart that's holding all these signs. And I'm doing this in the midst of my jealous ex-brother in law constantly knocking my signs down and hindering my ability to get things sold when we are having sales at the house. And this last sale only a couple weeks ago, this time he decided to be extremely malicious and just completely destroy my signs to pieces. He waited until sunday, the last day of our sale. He didn't touch them on Saturday and we got a hell of a lot of customers and made a lot for the causes. But Saturday night he went out and completely destroyed all my signs knock them down ripped them up broke them to pieces. All because he's jealous. It got me down to my lowest this time and I almost felt like giving up but I'm too strong to give up. Anyways so when I explained to the man in the comment section about my faux pas the man came back with yeah right Minister huh seems legit. So I literally called him out about how just because he has no motivation in life himself, and no passion to help others be on himself, how dare he judge me when he doesn't even know me. The people who know me, they know what I'm about. They know what I do. They know how I work the hustle to make this money to give to these causes. I literally bust my ass on this stuff. And he had to call out my whole damn life over what, because I made a simple mistake. picture, this is the dude. Will post pictures of the glass that was trying to sell for $2 and my Minister credentials in the comment section of this post just a little later today when I find those pictures. No I'm not a Christian minister in some church. I'm a practicing pagan and will be for life. But I am an ordained minister in the fact that I can officiate weddings cuz spiritual advice and so on. And I do this gladly and most of the time without one Penny's charge for my time for other pagans in need. Look up my page here on Facebook we are triple goddess charity sales. As you can see he has found a partner that is his exact equivalent. After all that's a Karen if I ever saw one sitting right there.
