Salt + Stone opened June 3, 2016 in a modest little space in Chester County, Pennsylvania- a place known for history, horses and countryside. We had a need to make jewels and offer unique goods and so Salt + Stone came to be. In just over a year, we moved from our sweet little space to a space three times in size, allowing us to place our jewelry workshop/studio on-site. The creator of Salt + Ston
e spent many of her formative years in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware- a place known for horseshoe crabs, beautiful beaches, and a sweet town filled with Artists and Foodies. In fact, this artist began selling her jewelry to Rehoboth Beach boutiques at just 8 years of age- a time when the phrase “Slower Lower’ was loosely thrown by city outsiders, and Winters brought stillness. As much as Chester County, PA was part of her, she knew Rehoboth Beach, DE always held her heart. So the story unfolds with this little artist, who made modest jewelry and dreamt of the seaside, whom studied at Carnegie Mellon University and had the world at her fingertips, decided to move her successful shop and family to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, opening on her birthday of September 28, 2018. In Rehoboth, you will find us off the beaten track, and we like it that way. Salt + Stone is known for our handcrafted jewelry- much we make in our studio on-site under the brand Vintage Faerie- and our carefully curated goods. When you visit Salt + Stone, you will discover a setting that invites you to take a moment and pause, to discover something lovely and unique. Find a talisman, feel magic. Many of our customers have become our friends and we enjoy meeting new salty souls. Salt + Stone carries seasonless, independent and forward brands in clothing, accessories, home goods, candles, apothecary, and of course fabulous jewelry; most you will not easily find elsewhere. As we offered in our beloved Chester County, PA shop, workshops will be hosted monthly in Rehoboth, and fabulous celebrations occur for Holidays, or just because… all year long… stop by and discover something special.
