Our summer art exhibition continues at Elegant Slumming, and we are absolutely in love with the breathtaking work of Pete Hocking

A painter, educator, and curator based on Cape Cod, Pete creates work that beautifully reflects nature, place, and identity…the kind of art that doesn’t just depict a landscape, but truly makes you feel as though you are standing within it. With a long and meaningful teaching legacy at RISD, Goddard College, and Brown University, his influence and artistry run as deep and enduring as the tides themselves.

We are so inspired by these paintings and feel incredibly grateful to share them with you this season.
