Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am truly honored that you have enough interest in my work to take the time out of your busy lives to take a look. Let me begin by introducing myself and sharing my vision and goal. My name is Carrie Katherine Buss. I was born in Huron a number of years ago, but did not grow up here. My mother and father were both born and raised locally, and although I m
ay not be well known in the community, my roots are here. I live with my best friend/ "husband" for lack of a better word and my oldest son Joe in Redfield. I am currently unemployed and this is how Soul Stunning came to be. In the past my careers have primarily been cooking because that's just what I do...or did. I love to cook and do it quite well, but to do any cooking on a large scale it is extremely harsh on the body and therefore I can no longer do so. I allowed it(and a few other tragedies) get the better of me for a couple of years.Before I allowed it to completely consume me, I started to draw and sketch again. Somehow, even as a child and into adolesence when I sketch or do art, it's like therapy for me. I had begun a doodle when my oldest sons dad passed away who was a very close and dear to my heart friend. This doodle became my most prized work of art and now resides in a gorgeous 11x15 hand crafted wood frame(that my amazing father made, thanks daddy!) The picture is his "Tree of Life" in a very spiritually animated way. In a nutshell that project took me over a year to do and had done so much for my soul, which in turn has also done so much for me and my family. During the process of learning about what the tree of life meant, it led me to "The Pendant". The one tiny item that started this fire under my feet and I've been running with the fire raging behind me ever since. The very first pieces I've made were the first pictures posted to this page. Of course I knew I loved them, but who knows if anyone else will, but I knew...
When my "husband", who truly is the best friend I could ever wish for, was boasting to one of his friends calling me a "master at my craft" that's when I knew. I had to at least share them with the world and start my new career that's a calling to make the world a more beautiful place. I hope you enjoy my products as much as I do.
