Jennifer-Betty-Jewelry Jennifer's newest line of jewelry is inspired by the cereal-box beads from Haiti. Betty, now living in Myrtle Beach SC, began making jewelry about 18 years ago.

The upcycled cardboard is rolled into colorful, lightweight beads that lend themselves to a variety of creations. She is self taught, but has taken classes along the way to improve her skills. She has studied under the designers at Auntie's Bead in Dallas, Texas, and assisted in classes with Auntie's Beads on a cruise they scheduled for their customers from all over the world. Shehas taken several

classes at Ornamentea in Raleigh also. Even though she started her career as a nurse, design has always been her passion. Carolina Window Designs, in Raleigh, was her previous business. Betty's designs can be found in Myrtle Beach at ART AND SOUL on Business Hwy 17 (an art gallery with a large of assortment of artists represented) as well as the many art festivals happening along the coast and inland.
