Visited our ancestors a couple weeks back with my Mom and weavers. I have been exploring our art more this year than I ever have while on hiatus from silver while my studio is in progress. Late night nursing sessions have turned into searches of online archives all over the world that has Tlingit works within their collections. I’ve been beading again, learned to weave cedar and currently learning Raven’s Tail. This was an experience I’ll never forget and so thankful for it. 💛 so much more studying to do. ✨

2016. Gosh, it’s been a minute. Two of those little boys are taller than me now.

I love scrolling back and catching little glimpses of everyone’s lives from a decade ago—so many people I’ve been following since then.

The years after my divorce, I’ve struggled with showing my face publicly, and just being honestly. This year, I’m trying to find my way back and post more regularly.

Looking back at my own memories, I’m reminded of how much of my life I once shared here: motherhood, marriage, foster kitties, farm animals, experimental art, travel… all of it.
I’ve missed the connection I had here. I miss treating this space like a digital art diary—and I’m ready to return to that again.
