We’ve been getting ready for a holiday show at the Stark St. Location) with the . Most of our work this season is blue and white porcelain, and we’re bringing a few series: animals, flowers, plants, and clouds.

These shows take a lot of work, and you never really know how things will go, so any support is deeply appreciated. Come say hi! We would so delighted to see some familiar faces.

Some years back we started a collection called yeti-works from woodland found objects. They were more sculptural artifacts than wearable adornment, and it was basically an excuse to go hunt around in the woods for cool things.

We recently took a little detour back into ceramic jewelry (pictured here) where we made porcelain earrings, a few pins, and some rings. These are eminently wearable and durable, much more pragmatic than the fragile, ephemeral yeti-works line :) They’re posted on jensenmarineaupottery at big cartel if you’d like to shop (link in bio).

A really lovely person~

Akio Takamori, who taught at UW for 21 years, had a career that spanned traditional industrial pottery, ceramic slab vessels and larger-than-life, sometimes cartoonish figures — including those on display in front of Whole Foods at South Lake Union.
