For a long time I wanted to make a “meaner” more dark variant of the Critical Strikes. Usually when I’m deep in my RPG PC gaming I tend to shift towards the darker end game gear! So here is our take on just that!

Cursed Critical Strikes are 35grams a piece, perfect for all day wear and around 3 1/8” long (80mm) from tip to top. Suggest you are about 00g (10mm) and up to wear!

Also…..ALL THE SAME TEXTURES AND FINISH OPTIONS are available for the Cursed variant as the original variant.

This set has a teeny channel running through the geodes on both plugs resulting in “geode eyelets”. Also it has really good translucency to show off those healthy banding lines!

1 7/8 (48mm) Grey Sumatra Agate from Sumatra Indonesia

This set was made for a local friend of mine here in Portland that was trying to get back up to 2”!

I can’t get enough of Sumatra agate since it’s so different to the Brazilian agate I have worked with for years but also so familiar since it offers similar characteristics at times.

I will be having another Makers Choice sale this week along with an announcement for a pop up!

2 3/4” (70mm) Indonesian Amber from the Island of Sumatra.

Amber has always been a favorite of mine ever since I found out what it was, it always has interested me. For those that don’t know what Amber is, Amber is a fossilized tree sap from a VERY long time ago. This material is super light weight especially for larger lobes and has crazy patterning in it from different debris inclusions from where ever the sap fell for the rest of its days.

This set was carved by my carving partner in Indonesia for a special customer that needed something super sized.

Would love to help anyone procure a set of Indonesian Amber plugs in the future if you were interested!

Just want to talk about some of my favorite weighs we have done!

These are the “Trackside” Rail road spike weights.

Stylistically designed to look like a rolled over U shape railroad spike, capturing all the age and character of a round spike

The RFA workshop is right by a set of tracks in north portland, and I see the train pass by regularly from the late night I have spent at the work shop.

These are a little nod to those moments in time, and making these some relatively special ear weights to the RFA collection

5/8 (16mm) Prehnite with Epidote inclusions.

This set was part of a 4 pair order for a client that was extremely patient during the whole process. After a set of geodes broke for this project we pivoted to this extraterrestrial looking material!

I have only carved this stuff once before and it’s definitely a bit of a trip!
