The past couple weeks have been challenging and it got me thinking about what I’m drawn to lately when I’m being stretched and pulled in different directions. I want to surround myself with things, people and experiences that are effortless. This applies to my jewelry choices too. This pendant is part of my Summer Ice series but yesterday someone pointed out that it has a magical beachy vibe and I was like “YES!” The chlorite and rutile are giving a sandy, sparkly texture and the translucent areas are like sprays of the ocean water. THIS Quartz. How is this piece still available? It’s so smooth, filled with Chlorite and Rutile which are said to hold cleansing and purifying properties. Set in oxidized silver, 18k gold sugar detail and a champagne diamond. I placed the diamond in the direction of the black rutile almost like an exclamation point. Why? Because I wanted to!!! The shop will not be open this weekend despite my Mom trying to convince me she could do it. For those who haven’t seen my stories this week …my Mom and Truffles were attacked by an off leash dog in my neighborhood on Sunday night. No it was not a stray dog. My mom suffered a L1 compression fracture in her spine and muscle strains in her chest from holding Truffles up while the dog tried to climb up her to reach Truffles. She was in the hospital Sunday night until Monday afternoon and has been staying with me all week. I really can’t answer any questions right now about the incident as I just need to focus on Mom’s recovery and trying to get back to work. I will ask that you all keep sending us as much positivity as you can share because we need it. We love you and thank you. xo, Aylee
