The Summer Ice series continues…

Next up is some icy pendants. Let’s talk about the oval shaped Chlorite and Rutile in Quartz. It caught my eye in a case of stones at a gem show in Tucson and once I picked it up and touched it I knew it had to be mine. The way this stone feels in your hand is palpable. Chlorite in Quartz has cleansing and purifying properties which is funny because I’m currently on a cleanse and yes I can’t stop touching this stone.

It might still be spring but the Summer Ice capsule collection is here. Starting with these dreamy Rutilated Quartz Vault earrings in 18k gold and oxidized silver. I premiered this style of earrings over 10 years ago and I always love coming back to it with a fresh twist. One of the many things I love about these earrings is they truly look just as good with jeans and a tee shirt as they do with your favorite dress. I wore these to an event last night and they definitely caused some chatter. If someone doesn’t grab these I’m tempted to keep them for my personal collection. Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom Janelle. She’s not just my mom she’s my bff, my assistant, my shop manager, Truffles’ Gramma, my confidant and so much more. When you least expect it she might even drop an f-bomb which always brings me to tears of laughter. And laughter is everything. Let’s talk about some favorite earrings modeled by my dear friend Angelina. The CURVY version of my signature Vault motif. Available in shiny silver or oxidized silver. I couldn’t be more proud of these hoops because they are the quintessential everyday wardrobe staple. Comfortable, powerful and easy to wear.

Inspired by the famous Chrysler Building. I’ve seen this legendary building in person and in photos throughout my life. However while reading one of my favorite books on the Art Deco era | landed on an image that halted me. It was Margaret Bourke-White’s photograph that allowed me to see the architecture from a perspective that set off fireworks in my brain.
