Here's why people are freaking out about a 1929-style crash:

The market's getting weird. S&P valuations are ridiculous — you're paying 30x earnings when the historic average is half that. And it's not even a real rally. Just 7 stocks account for over a third of the entire S&P 500. Everything else is dead in the water.

Then there's the debt. $38 trillion and climbing. We add $2 trillion every year. At some point the math breaks.

Rates? Fed "cut" by a quarter point. Inflation's still eating people alive. They're not winning this.

Commercial real estate is a disaster. Office vacancy near 20%. Banks are sitting on bad loans nobody wants to talk about.

And the yield curve was inverted for over a year. Most of the time that happens, recession hits within 18 months.

Oh, and the Fed's quietly pumping liquidity again. They've done repo operations and $13.5 billion injections in December. That's them trying to keep things from falling apart.

Here's the part nobody's saying out loud though — institutions already moved to cash. That rally you've been chasing? That's retail FOMO at the top.

And when the music stops?

You don't panic. You have a plan. You know exactly where you're putting that cash because you've done the work before the crash came.

That's the difference between getting wiped out and buying the dip.
