Yesterday, I was able to make a trip out to Hölstein, Swtzerland to visit the Oris HQ. This has been one of my favorite brands for a long time and can not believe it took me this long to make the day trip while back home.

I had the great privilege to talk with Rolf Studer, the Co-CEO of the company on one of their newest releases, the ProPilot Caliber 400 laser. He also shared about how Oris has always sold great quality watch offerings at a more entry level price-point. I’m a huge fan of any company that tries to be inclusive.

I am always blown away by how passionate and knowledgeable everyone is whenever I visit an Oris boutique.

Also, a huge thank you to ! the Marketing Manager for Oris Italy spent several hours with us discussing manufacturing, design, and some of their future releases!

I’m working on getting a selection of ribbed natos into the shop. Here is one on my grandfather’s old Mirexal. This is the last watch he wore before he passed away and carries tremendous meaning to me. I love everything about it, including the orange on the hands, the bicolor bezel, and the shape of the case and lugs.

What colors are you all keen to see in the shop?
