Which direction of wear is your favorite for this piece?

The shape of this amazonite is really complementary to long fingers, and it’s a few sizes larger than most of the ones I have listed on my site right now. More rings this size coming soon. I think I tried so hard not to make everything in my size that I ended up with a bunch in the 6-8 size range. Planning to change that!

What reminds you of home?

There are classics, for me, like the smells of Oregon forests, the summer heat and the winter freezes, and even the interstate that leads back to the place I grew up (albeit a few hours down the road). There are also simple things, though, like this Oregon green scenic jasper. Those green-blue tones and the sparkling yellows look like the waters of every lake we camped at and every river we rode the horses through. The colors don’t get any better than this one! This piece was a blast to make, and made for a Memorial Day well spent.
