We are very excited to announce a new addition to our MoonGate family! Please welcome our new Tarot Reader, Elle! She is an intuitive psychic, tarot & oracle reader, and genuinely wonderful person.

Elle’s Readings will be joining Readings by Elsbeth to handle walk-in readings at Moongate. No appointment necessary. We will now have a reader available every day that the store is open.

Elle will be available on Wednesdays from Noon - 6pm and Thursdays from Noon - 3pm for the remainder of the summer. Elsbeth will continue to be available Friday - Moonday from Noon - 6pm.

AWEN will be closing it's doors for the last time on Sunday, May 5th at 5:55PM

This date and time have special significance to me for several reasons:
- In Numerology, 55555 symbolizes a major transformation, a period of personal growth, progress and significant change. This is the perfect time to let go of the past and step into the future.
- This is the 5th year of AWEN's existence. Elsbeth is the 5th Tarot reader that has worked at one of my stores, and she is a 5-star reader!
- This will be the 5th anniversary since the passing of my mother, Nancy. Without my mother's love and support I would not have been able to open my first store.
- The timing of the Grand Opening of MoonGate Metaphysical being on Mother's Day will be a fitting celebration of my mother's role in this, and the perfect time to step into this transformation.
- More Numerology, the date and year of the Grand Opening for MoonGate being on 5/12 and in 2024 both add up to 8's, and I have been running metaphysical stores in Port Huron for 8 years now. Those three 8's tie into the MoonGate888 handle for MoonGate Metaphysical, and 888 is associated with abundance, success and prosperity.

I look forward to sharing this Mother's Day with those that are mothers now, those that may someday be mothers, those that can't be mothers, those that choose not to be mothers, those that are mothers to fur-babies, and those that share this journey through life with them.

Beltane Blessings to you all!
This is the perfect time to make our biggest announcement ever!

It is with a mix of excitement for new beginnings and sadness for the final days of AWEN, that we announce the Grand Opening of MoonGate Metaphysical!

MoonGate Metaphysical will be opening it's doors on Sunday, May 12th at Noon. We have a bunch of new stock on the way, including many items that we have never before carried. Elsbeth will be there with a special deal on Tarot readings at $20 for a 15 minute reading.

To allow us time to complete the move AWEN will be closing it's doors for the final time at 5pm on Sunday May 5th. AWEN has been a huge part of our lives for a little over four and a half years now, and part of us will miss it. We are very grateful for everybody that supported us through all of the changes and challenges. We hope that you get a chance to visit AWEN one more time before the move. There will be about one week of downtime between the closing of AWEN and the Grand Opening of MoonGate Metaphysical, so stop in and grab whatever supplies you might need to get by. Don't let yourself run out of incense!

AWEN's page will remain active for at least several months, to make sure that even the yearly visitors to the area can find our new place. However, the best place to keep up with all of the announcements and details will be on the FB page for the new store:

PS – While we would prefer that AWEN Gift Cards are redeemed before AWEN shuts down for good, we will of course honor any unused Gift Cards at the new location. No need to worry.

We know that we have some amazingly intuitive people that visit our little shoppe. We have sold many hundreds of Tarot and Oracle decks to some wonderful friends of the store over the years. Here's a chance to practice your craft and put those decks to use.

PS - Just to be fair, we won't let our house reader, Readings by Elsbeth, participate in this. 😉

Now that the holiday season is over, we will be changing our schedule. Starting next week we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our hours on Wednesday through Sunday remain the same. Elsbeth will no longer be available for walk-ins on Thursday, but will still be here from Friday through Sunday. This is NOT the major announcement that we were teasing with our post last week. That announcement will be coming up soon.
