What a wild 24 hours! I got the honor of hanging out with some incredibly talented and impressive Indigenous filmmakers, directors and creatives at the Seattle International Film Festival. Just lil' old me, who beads in my living room. Being Mom's super lucky +1.
We were able to screen two Māori films last night! Pouākai, by & Mārama, by . If you get the opportunity, see these movies! Chilling and beautiful.
Sharing space with each of these people was joy filled and inspiring. I'm real humbled and have a people-ing hangover in the best way.
