Since the picture of custom joint protectors I posted recently gathered so much interest and questions I figured I would post a step by step of a new set for a customer cue that they already own. Hopefully this will help explain the amount of work that goes into them as well as the cost.

Available at the Derby City Classic. 6 points of highly figured black ash Burl with burgundy/blk/maple/blk/burgundy/black/maple veneers into cocobolo forearm. Cocobolo butt with matching veneer stitch rings throughout. Wht/dbl brown spec Irish linen wrap. $2,500.
