It’s that time of year again- Spring Break!
Living in FL, we like to seek out the snow and take a ski trip. I’ve always made hats while on vacation and in 2021 I started leaving them in places around the resort & on the mountain for others to find and keep. Which hat did you find?!!? 🫶🏻

This is the entrance of the Spiro Tunnel. It goes 21,675 ft into the mountain to a 1,700 ft vertical lift. Constructed between 1916 & 1924, it was designed to de-water the surrounding mine tunnels. From 1965 to 1967 it was used as a “skier subway” for the then Treasure Mountain Resort. Now-a-days it provides 30% of Park City’s municipal drinking water 🫗 There is no need to look for a hat here- I gave it to the guide of a tour group that was there for his best participant.

🎿 Another sculpture by Peter Fillerup. Meet Emmett “Bud” Wright. He was a lineman for the local telephone company in the 1920’s. On his handmade 10ft long skis, he traveled the mountains surrounding Park City repairing phone lines. Because there were no ski shops, Emmett had to use a ski of a different length when one broke. Here you will find a hat that will fit you perfectly!🎿
