A Pinch-Me Moment…

As a dreamer, the dream often feels so big that not only does the world doubt it—but sometimes, there’s that little voice inside my own head asking, Can I really do this?

Still, I couldn’t help but believe in it.

I started off pursuing a career in the medical field, but I found myself skipping biology classes at UBC to chase this dream—By The Sun.

People around me thought I was out of my mind. But dreaming big has always been in my DNA. My dad used to tell me, “As long as you’re willing to work hard for it, nothing is impossible.”

That stuck with me—almost in a stubborn, delusional way.

But even with that belief, every time a thought became reality, I was still genuinely shocked that it came true.

Looking back, I now see the odds stacked against what I was trying to achieve. Without a dash of delusion and a deep belief, it probably wouldn’t have happened.

So here’s a gentle reminder to myself—and to anyone who dreams big:

There are no limits.
The only limits are the ones we place on ourselves.

Stay courageous. Stay true.
The universe is rooting for us dreamers.
