The recovery on my burned leg is slow going, it looks like I won't be in the shop , at least to start the week. I'm really going to try for Wednesday, but at this time it is painful to walk and a challenge to even dress myself.

Dear friends, followers and customers, many of you may have noticed we have been closed all week. Unfortunately, last weekend I suffered a fairly significant burn to my leg. No, not from something as foolish as deep frying a turkey, a little more personal and painful. I will hopefully be recovered enough to return next Tuesday at regular time. In addition to the missed time, we are considerably short on work to do. We have enough to stay busy for a couple of days, but for the first time, I worry about our future with so little work to do. If you have anything that needs refinishing, starting next week would hopefully be the time to get it done.

Thank you for all your support over the years, we'll try to be back at it soon.

Had a wonderful Christmas with family. Dinner was amazing, gifts were exchanged... I got a beautiful head cold from our grandson.

If anyone notices we will not be open today, we'll try again tomorrow.

Grand kids are THE BEST, even when they pass along every germ known to mankind. Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'll be out with a cold today, see you tomorrow.

Just a quick update on the business status. If you have called, you already know I am recovering from a bout with covid pneumonia. I was hospitalized. It was frightening. My sister in law was taken from us at age 50. I am recovering, but the process is slow. The symptoms are gone, but the lingering fatigue and energy drain, remain. We have been open a few days, and will be open this week Tuesday - Thursday from 5am - 11am, for sure. As you can imagine, we are extremely backed up with work, and our sincere apologies go out to any customers who were promised orders for Christmas, but did not get them completed. The general understanding is that the after effects of covid last for 8-10 weeks, some studies have suggested these effects can linger for months. I will do what I can.

Thanks to everyone who prayed for me during this time, they were well received and appreciated. Continue to pray for those who are sick and remember all we have lost.
