This is the new home of the Three Rivers Arts Festival…. I know- we all wish it was back at Point State Park. But that is not going to happen. I excited to see this project completed. It’ll be a great home for TRAF! I hope to see you there !

Arts Landing is intended to pay homage to the artistic talent, practice and diversity of Pittsburgh as not only a park but also a public space for community and people to slow down, engage or imagine. It’s meant to be a moment of pause and respite in a world that is speeding up exponentially.
The inaugural exhibition at Arts Landing will feature the work of 10 artists with strong ties to the Pittsburgh region: Lenka Clayton, Phillip Andrew Lewis, vanessa german, Darian Johnson, Mikael Owunna and Marques Redd, John Peña, Sharmistha Ray, Shikeith and the late Thaddeus Mosley.
Leading the art side of this new public space is Anastasia James, director of galleries and public art at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, who says large-scale public art requires thinking across multiple layers, including creative vision, site specificity, engineering and fabrication realities and timeline.
